Multifamily Portfolio Manager

The Multifamily Portfolio Manager position provides full service to an assigned portfolio of multifamily mortgage loans. This position performs day-to-day management of related loan activities including customer interaction, escrow management and compliance filings.  

Success in this position will encompass providing exemplary external and internal customer service while performing and maintaining timely, accurate financial transactions and records associated with assigned loans.  

This position is physically located at our headquarters in Carmel, Indiana.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Service, maintain and troubleshoot assigned portfolio of multifamily mortgage loans.
  • Input and maintain data using GinnieNet, FICS, Fannie Mae and Corelogic mortgage software.
  • Process postal mail, calls and emails directly with or on behalf of borrowers.
  • Manage escrow taxes, insurance, replacement reserve and repair accounts.
  • File and maintain UCC-3 forms online and hardcopy.
  • Interact with HUD, Fannie Mae and various governmental agencies via phone regarding compliance/procedural issues.
  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:  
  • Prior multifamily mortgage banking and/or property management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HUD, Fannie Mae and various governmental agencies’ reporting requirements and regulations preferred.
  • Requires problem solving skills as well as the initiative to troubleshoot and find resolutions.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to identify, interpret and apply applicable guidelines in managing assigned processes.
  • Must possess strong organization and communication skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Requires proficiency in using basic computer software such as Microsoft Office, specifically regarding Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage the demands of multiple deadlines while working as a team player with consideration for customers, co-workers and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred; high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.

Investor Accounting Specialist

The Investor Accounting Specialist manages the ongoing accounting requirements associated with GNMA, FNMA, FHLMC and bank loans within the commercial real estate finance industry. This position performs routine accounting tasks as a part of maintaining loan compliance standards.  

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent math and Excel skills and enjoy applying those skills in a commercial finance environment with a desire to grow in expertise within the role and department. A successful Investor Accounting Specialist places a high priority on accuracy and attention to detail in adherence with complex lending regulations.  

This position is physically located at our Carmel, Indiana, headquarters.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Post payments, disbursements and interest on escrow.
  • Track and remit required payments per set schedules.
  • Perform routine monthly and quarterly reporting, including GNMA reporting.
  • Assist with audit processes and support department audit procedures.
  • Build new loans for accounting, working closely with closing group for accurate booking.
  • Complete general accounting tasks in support of the Investor Accounting department.
  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:  
  • Excellent applied math skills in finance or accounting required.
  • Ability to use Excel at an intermediate to advanced level in a business setting required.
  • Proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy with a strong attention to detail required.
  • Must exhibit strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully independently and in a team environment required.
  • Ability to use Word and Outlook at an intermediate level in a business setting required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution required.
  • Previous work experience in a professional office environment required.
  • Prior experience with commercial mortgages and/or HUD is preferred.
  • Prior experience with FICS or Precision LM mortgage software is preferred.
  • Database report writer programming skills are preferred.
